"…It was a great holiday for us…
We drove around a lot:
Nîmes (golf), Cévennes, Vézénobres, Chateau de Portes, Mialet, St Jean du Gard, Cirque de Navalles, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert
to name a few places.
The Languedoc-Roussillon area made a very strong impression on us.
Much more “original” than, say the Provence Coast.
The Musée du Désert was particularly interesting, reminding us of schools lessons dealing with the Huguenot wars.
Dinners and lunches in local restaurants were good, the best being Le Ranquet in Tornac.
The house was fine!
Thanks for the opportunity to stay at this lovely house in a region that deserves to be better known …

The home is very comfortable and the town of Anduze is what you would imagine a typical French village in Provence should be;
charming and idyllic.
We drove to see many sites in Provence;
I wish I had had a month there.
We saw castles, bridges and buildings that date from the 1st century, markets chocked with wonderful, fresh produce of the region,
drank fabulous vin du pays (local wine),
saw gorgeous countryside and other natural landmarks of beauty, got lost a few times and wound up on some amazing country roads,
ate very tasty pastries and French bread, and the list of marvels goes on.
If you are ever considering a vacation in France, do consider going to Provence and staying at this great villa.
It is a wonderful experience and not one that I will forget soon!"
